Day 5
Today in class we talked about "A message to Garcia" for a little while. We talked about how Rowan was in all the newspapers (written by Elbert Hubbard) and that ever boss wanted a worker like Rowan. They wanted people who didn't complain, worked hard, and did what they were told the first time. People now aren't looking for jobs or don't feel like going to work. "A message to Garcia" really knowledge's us about how it used to be. The second half of class we talked about Voting for election. The United States has the least amount of people voting (53%), compared to Peru(86%), Iran(75%), and Rwanda(89%). This shows that people aren't getting up and going to vote, like people in their 20's-30's, and people that are in their 70's-80's are the ones going to vote.
