Oct 21. class
Today in class we went over some of the facts that we found out about the leaders of each of the 12 countries for our project. I found out a lot of interesting facts, like Enrique Pena Nieto was married and had an affair with another women and had children with her. Also he won president mainly for his good looks. Another interesting fact is that Joachim Gauck doesn't run the country as much as Angela Markle, she is the chandler of Germany and has much control and power.

Spotify
Today in class Mr. Schick gave everyone a password for Spotify, Spotify has started a program called pilot program and it is for schools around the United States to have music be apart of the curriculum. They are testing this out to see if it is actually beneficial. everyone gets a free 3 1/2 months with no commercials. Now that music is such a big part in everyone's lives, i think it will help students and personally make me work better knowing that i can relate a song to something I'm learning in school.

CIA World Factbook
Today in class we talked about whether the United States was the best place in the world to live or not. To help figure this out we talked more about the short clip we watched in class the other day and we took a look at the CIA World Factbook again. We used the cite to compare the united states to other places around the world to see if the U.S is really the best place. As i was looking through some of the statistics i found that their are other countries that are better than the United States, none of these countries are perfect but there are places other than the United States that we don't think about on a regular basis. Some of the facts surprised me a little, for example Mexico has more airport than the U.S, this is because many people vacation in Mexico. It will be interesting to watch how these number and rankings change over the years.
